Clinical Practitioners work alongside our doctors to help diagnose and treat patients with acute problems.
Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
Tracy Garbutt, the practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
Helen is the manager of the administration team and is responsible for the smooth running of the office which includes secretarial, general admin and presribing staff. All paperwork that comes into the surgery, including hospital letters are processed through the administration office.
Amanda is the Reception Manager and responsible for the reception staff. Ensuring that the front reception and office are adequatley manned and that patients are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner.
The midwife shares responsibility for your antenatal care with your doctor and the hospital.
The practice has a team of community nurses, attached to our locality, who work in conjunction with your doctors. They are able to offer a comprehensive nursing service in your home.
